Giving our tithes, donations, and/or offerings is not just generosity—it is, us walking after God's ways and obeying His laws. The Apocrypha tells us:

"Water will quench a flaming fire; and alms maketh an atonement for sins." (Sirach 3:30)

Our giving is not just charity—it is obedience, it is righteousness, and it is our dedication to God. The Bible teaches that blessings follow obedience. When we follow God's commandments and walk according to His ways, He promises to bless us. As it is written:

"If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God." (Deuteronomy 28:1–2)
